The Bully Buster Box
This box hangs outside the library. Students in grades 3-5 have the opportunity to report bullies in a discreet, private manner. Forms are in each room as well as in the hall in the special areas.
The box is locked and the counselor is the only one who empties the box and reviews the reports.
Each report is examined and investigated. The one doing the reporting has to sign the paper in order for an "interview" to be conducted.
Kindergarten-2nd grade
Boys and girls are taught the difference between reporting and tattling. Their first contact for reporting is the teacher. All students are encouraged to talk to Mrs. Wright or Mr. Scholl at any time.
